December 6, 1991 Dubrovnik was attacked by the Serbian and Montenegrian Armies. In the photo above you can see the different colors of tile (you notice from all shots from the wall walk). The bright orange tiles are new and represent buildings that were bombed, the old and mismatched survived the bombings.
